Blackall Range
The Blackall Range dominates the hinterland of the Sunshine Coast in South East Queensland. The main settlements on the range include the quaint villages of Maleny, Montville, Flaxton and Mapleton. Mapleton Falls National Park is one of several national parks located on the Blackall Range.

Parks, Reserves, Activities
Sunshine Great Walk, the 58.8km great walk takes in many of the Blackall range attractions including National Parks, State Forests, and reserves. Day visitors can access short half-day and full-day walks within the Great Walk route.
Pencil Creek forms Mapleton Falls, plunging 120m into the valley below. The Mapleton Falls National Park contains a great, wheelchair accessible lookout point where a panoramic view of the valley can be seen. A few simple bushwalks are available, with no bushwalking experience needed, with another lookout located on one of the walks.
